Maggie's Story

Being a recipient of the Be Bold, Brave & Brilliant scholarship has been one of the biggest blessings! Not only did the scholarship help pay for my books in college at The University of Alabama but also gave me the push to step out of my comfort zone and get involved in several competitive organizations around campus as soon as I got there.

Knowing that someone believes in you is sometimes all the motivation one needs to find the best version of themselves and Makalyn has been one of my biggest motivators in this aspect. It is women like her and initiatives like Be Bold, Brave & Brilliant that will continue to inspire generations of women to live daily as their best self.

I am extremely thankful and proud to have been a small part of such an impactful legacy!
