Savannah's Story

I am so honored to be chosen as the 2022 recipient of the Be Bold, Brave, and Brilliant scholarship. This scholarship will allow me to continue my academic journey at the University of West Florida. Once at UWF I plan on studying Biomedical Sciences to graduate with a pre-medical degree.

Be Bold, Brave, and Brilliant has shown me that hard work and determination, along with going outside of your comfort zone, can be rewarding. It has inspired me to continue just that as I move forward to the next chapter of my life. The Be Bold, Brave, and Brilliant initiative demonstrates to young women to never be scared of failure. Through the next stages of my education, I hope to always stay strong and not be scared to fail.

As I set my next goals and attempt to reach them, I will remember the kindness and hard work of Makalyn that made this scholarship opportunity for me possible. She exhibits all the things I wish to be and I hope I also can inspire people to Be Bold, Brave, and Brilliant one day as well.

I will forever be thankful of this opportunity and honored to be apart of such an outstanding initiative!
